Size 9 Needles
Knit two pieces alike.
Cast on 12 stitches and knit 45 rows.
Break off yarn.
On other needle, cast on 12 stitches and knit 45 rows.
Next row: Knit 24 stitches (12 stitches from each piece)
(these are the legs). Knit 19 more rows.
Cast on 14 stitches at beginning of next two rows
Knit 19 rows
Cast off 14 stitches at beginning of next two rows.
(you have made the legs, body and arms).
There are 24 stitches left. Knit 32 rows (the head).
Cast off.
Join legs, arms and body together, leaving an opening for stuffing. Stuff LIGHTLY. Stitch across cormers of head for ears. Embroider eyes, nose and mouth and tie a ribbon around the neck.
