QUILTERS SUPPORT GRIP

NELSPRUIT - The Lowveld quilters invited Grip CEO, Ms Barbara Kenyon to inform the members, at their most recent meeting, on Grip's activities in the Lowveld.
At the occasion, they presented her with a donation, raised by raffling a quilt made by one of the members. The quilt itself was, however, also donated to Grip in the end. Kenyon promised that it would be used in the intermediate room at court 2, for young rape survivors who had to testify against their perpetrators.
At a previous meeting the quilters had also learned to make rag dolls and had unanimously decided to make some for Grip to present to survivors. Several of them were also handed over at the meeting, which took the form of a mad hatter's party.
