GIFT FROM GERMANY TO GRIP

Deutsche Pfadfinderschaft Sankt Georg's Scouter Markus Koppe, has been doing volunteer work with Scouting Mpumalanga through Nangu Thina support organisation. He returned to Germany, where he told everyone of the wonderful work being done by Barbara Kenyon and her Grip team, and of the support given by the 1st Nelspruit Guides. Markus' mother and the local women's association had raised a reasonable sum of money at their last Christmas bazaar, which they wanted to donate to organisations helping needy women. Having heard about Grip they did not hesitate to donate half the proceeds via Guilding and Scouting Mpumalanga to Grip, the other half going to a similar local project caring for under-age mothers.
